Dan Micic, a Chicago native, always excelled at problem-solving. While studying finance and business management at Harper College, he discovered his talent for sales. Noticing the Biology department's need for medical supplies, he arranged his first sale of 80 cases of Medline gloves. This sparked his venture into the nursing and medical supplies market, leading to the establishment of a company that became a major supplier to educational institutions across North America.
In 2007, Micic founded Medical Shipment, specializing in simulation nursing supplies. As president, he shapes the company's vision, forges partnerships, and builds sales teams. Today, the company thrives, thanks to its commitment to customer service and Micic's industry impact. Outside of work, Dan practices Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, plays competitive poker, and enjoys traveling. He cherishes his friends and family, welcoming visitors to Chicago and supporting his favorite teams: the Bears, White Sox, and Bulls!

2007
What started as a college side hustle became the foundation of Medical Shipment. Dan delivered the very first order of medical gloves to Harper College using a borrowed truck. Kickstarting the company’s journey.
Medical Shipment hires its first employee and secured an exclusive partnership with Becton Dickinson (BD), a global leader in medical technology. That same year, the company earned BBB Accreditation and has proudly maintained an A+ rating ever since.

Expanding beyond distribution, Medical Shipment introduced its own private label product line, further establishing its presence in the medical education industry.
Medical Shipment earned its spot on the Inc. 5000 List of Fastest Growing Companies, marking the start of three consecutive years of recognition.
